Multiple Sclerosis

       no thanks...

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an immune-mediated disease that causes the body’s immune system to attack the central nervous system (CNS), the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves make up the CNS. More specifically, the disease attacks myelin, a fatty substance that surrounds and insulates nerve fibers. The immune system sends T-cells, immune response cells,  damaging or destroying the myelin and nerve fiber. When nerve fibers are damaged, messages in the CNS may be changed or stopped. Symptoms of MS varies from person to person depending on severity and sites of attack, but the symptoms are caused by inflammation within the CNS. This is where CBD has potential to help MS sufferers, CBD has shown to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

Chronic Pain

Chronic pain can come from many sources whether it be illness such as, multiple sclerosis and arthritis, or the result of an injury. Studies have shown CBD to be effective as a therapy to chronic pain and inflammation in mice. CBD, unlike pharmaceutical options for pain relief, doesn’t build a tolerance, making it suitable for a long-term and constant issue.
